25ish year old horse foe sale!!!

hey, not trying to sound rude or anything but that horse has a blaze not a star. sorry...when youre around horses you notice the things like that.

I know, when I posted the pics I thought to myself "Idiot, he doesn't have a star". I've been around horses all my life but I made a mistake, sorry. Great, now I feel stupid, o well. Anyways I really hope that some one on BYC will get him because then I know he would have a good home.

I'll answer what I can.
He doesn't take medicine - he eats senior food
I'm selling him because I don't have enough time to ride him
He used to open gates for a man who couldn't walk, he has thrown me before but with lessons he will be perfectly fine
He rides western
He would do very well in lessons(he is green broke)
He does very well with other horses, he lives with 3 others
I used to ride him on trails and he did EXCELLENT
He does not spook easily
He can use any bit
No, I have never jumped him.

Has he ever bucked or bolted while someone was riding him?

I will talk to my barn manager and see if she is interested in him. We run the UNC P.E. program and are always looking for good quiet horses. Where are you located at?

he is between 15 and 16 hands
He has bucked with me before but it was my fault because I hadn't ridden him in 2 years and just decided I was going to and sure enough, he threw me
He would probably pick up english riding well
He lives right down the hill from about 20 barking dogs and they don't bother him at all
