26 weeks...still no eggs....

Hi guys! My mallards are 26 weeks old and still haven't laid eggs...I'm feeding them layer feed and they still aren't laying. It looks like the area near between their legs is starting to droop, but its been like that for 2 weeks. I don't believe it's too late in the season for mallards to lay. Does anyone know why they aren't laying?

My Mallards didn't start for almost 36 weeks.

And then they laid all spring and quit once it got hotter.

Darn....Oh well I have harlequins coming. At least I'll have eggs in the spring.
