Well, ebay again...[IMG] I had an auction that the person has not payed for thier eggs..... I am about done selling there. So here we go again. I have 27 button eggs collected over the last 4 days. $18.00 for all and that includes shipping and delivery conformation. If you send payment right away I can get them in the mail this afternoon. The sooner the better, otherwise they will go in tomorrow morning. I might even have a few extras too. Thanks Jenn

I have one set that I am collecting for to go out on Saturday so I can do another set on Tuesday. Let me know if you would be interested. Jenn
  6. I don't know much about Button Quail, but I DO know that they are adorable!! Can they live outside amongst chickens? We live in the SF Bay Area, so have mild weather. I have 3 four week old pullets in the brooder at the moment. Can they live harmoniously? It would be GREAT to hatch our own Buttons.

Buttons are REALLY small... the chickens would think they were mice and eat them! [IMG]

You need a quail cage for them... they really wouldn't do well with the chickens. They ARE adorable, however. [IMG]

Jenn... how many Button hens do you have? Do they each lay an egg a day? Mine are 4-5 weeks old, and I'm just holding my breath waiting for the first egg. [IMG] If someone hadn't already snatched them up, I would have bought them...
  8. Good to know! I'd love to see some Buttons up close and personal, but think we'll stick with our chicks for now! [IMG]

Buttons are very small. Full grown they are about 3 to 4 inches long and about 2 to 3 inches high. As long as your nights dont go below 50 degrees they could go outside. I have heard of people with large out door aviaries that use heat lamps on cool nights but mine are indoor birds. I have about 12 hens and usually get 6 to 8 eggs aday. My hens started laying about 7 to 8 weeks. If anyone else would like this deal let me know and I can start a list. I think I am done with ebay for a while. Jenn
