28 Weeks & Finally an Egg!

    Don't know who laid it, but it's a good size for a first egg. The first egg is the brown one on the left. I put a leghorn egg in there for comparison. And with below zero temps and snow on the ground. What a good little chicken!

    I've gotta admit to envy! My girls are just 9 weeks old [OEGB & Cochin] so I have a Loooooooong wait ahead of me! In my daydreams I am thinking I wikk empty out my first eggnand use it -filled w/ hair gel as the 'wet' for the hygrometer in my yet to be built incubator! [​IMG]!
