Got a humongous egg from one of my big RIR girls. It was as long as my middle finger and weighed 3 1/4 oz. Was expecting two or even three yolks. What did I get? ONE. Wonder what would have happened if I incubated it? Baby Huey? LOL. Here it is next to the yolk of a large egg (yes, had a couple meat spots in it) Didn't check for blastodiscs on it since DH was eating it for brunch, but once had one with three blastodiscs on one huge yolk.

Wow! That was huge. [IMG] Too bad you didn't know it was a single yolk. I wonder if it would have been identical twins or triplets or just a single chick?
