Spikey hairdo- probably a roo. Red wattles. But no crest...

I have my own polish I'm trying to determine gender on myself. They are so hard!

Yeah I have to get rid of mine if it's a roo as I'm in a duplex in the city. Mine physically looks like a female (except larger wattles, but crested polish should have them) and very distinct rounded hair. But acting as a dominant chicken and trying to make weird sounds similar to crowing. Hens can crow and it sounds like the youtube videos I've found.

Did you ever determine the sex of yours?

Mine I'm fairly certain is a roo now. Loud crowing (which is like honking/crowing) and hair has gone a bit more sporadic. Not smooth and sleek anymore.
