All 10 of my 17 week olds are doing great in this heat. A few of my Polish girls became lethargic at the beginning but are all better now.
    21 days of 102-110. Ugh.
I am lucky to be home all day and can change out huge ice bottles and add iced bottles to their water. They get lots of protein as well.

Is it okay to add Apple Cider Vinegar to water every day? I do 1or2 TB per 3 gt bowl.

The vitamin, PvS, really helped with the 'heat stroked' girls.
Now during this heat I have been giving all of them 3-4 drops 1x a week. Is this ok ?

And finally they are close to laying.
Once I switch to Layer feed, on flockraiser now, can I feed back dried and crushed shells ?
I think yes but if often enough do they still need oyster shell?

    Thanks and keep cool everyone!

The poly visol I have not used except when they were chicks so I can't answer that.

As for ACV I use a 1/4 cup to 5 gallons of water. I have been giving to all of my animals since day 1. Not only is it good for them it also stops the algae from growing in the water.
