You are bidding on 3 Buff Orpington hatching eggs, plus 1 extra by request. This amount is good to put in a mini incubator, under a broody hen, or just to hatch a few chicks. These eggs will be shipped the week of October 25th if payment is received asap at the end of the auction. In order to get these ready to ship, we need prompt payment. We hatch eggs from our Buffs on a regular basis in an incubator, but mainly under broody hens. We encourage broodiness in our line of birds. Buff Orpingtons are a nice-sized, brown egg laying, dual purpose bird. Roosters get large enough to process for meat and hens lays a medium to large egg. Since some hens go broody, you can raise your own meat and eggs to become more self-sustaining. The picture included is of some of our hen plus new brood rooster, Midas. He is still putting on weight, size, and feather and we are in love with his laid-back and gentle personality with the hens and with people. He is a clear Buff color - no smut or off-color feathering.

TERMS: This auction is a final sale. Please understand that hatching eggs involves some risks and chance, so please refrain from bidding if you are not willing to accept the risks. We package the eggs to be best of our ability, but breakages do occur in cases of mishandling by the postal service.
SHIPPING: I will ship your eggs to US addresses only via USPS Priority Mail with free DC.
OUR GUARANTEE: Yes, we offer a guarantee on our eggs! If, for whatever reason, half of the eggs are broken when you get them due to poor packaging, we will replace the eggs for the shipping cost. If at least half of the eggs are broken during shipping, you must get a postal worker to sign a letter stating so. This guarantee does not include the replacement eggs that are lost, stolen, or returned to me. It also does not guarantee that you will win at shows with these birds. There are a lot of factors that influence the chances of winning at shows, including nutrition, condition of birds, and the size of the shows. If you have any questions about our guarantee about what is covered and what is not, please ask before you bid!
