    Thanks... that’s what I thought but wasn’t too sure about the white one... she is so slow to develop her feathers... but she really is the cutest..

    I believe the little black one in the last picture is the only cockerel :)

    Ya know, if his comb and wattles didn’t prove it... I would definitely know by how mama treats him.. she REALLY wants HIM away from her :hit... I can’t handle how mean chickens are to the newbies but it truly breaks my heart when mama turns on them :hit:hit:hit... their first source of safety and protection.. and they run to her for security only to receive the same from her :(... I can’t handle it! I know it’s the way things are but I still don’t like it!!! At least now I can say that I experienced a mama with babies but I don’t think I’ll ever do it again!

    I agree-the white one is a roo. we have a buff Cochin about 8 weeks now and we can't tell on whether or not it's a pullet or cockerel. pic:
