3 day old chick cant bend leg at ankle, Help please!

i have a 3 day old chick that took a very long time to hatch. when it did the chick could not walk and did not open its eyes. its now 3 days old an we figured out that it cant walk because its leg doesn't bend at the ankle. The chick rarely opens its eyes and will take vitamin water from a pipet but I cant get it to eat much. It chirps when I set it down in its box and when it falls over. it keeps trying to stand but ends up on its back. Please help!

I'm sorry your chick isn't doing well. Sometimes late hatching chicks can be puny at first. Sometimes they don't make it. Maybe we can help. Can you post a photo or video? We need to see the leg, and foot.

Are you trying to feed wet food, or dry? Is it in a brooder with other chicks, or in a separate brooder setup?

There are also discussions on boots, hobbles, and splints that have helped chicks get their footing when they have certain foot or leg problems.
