3 drakes getting along with only 4 females to share. HOW?

I have 3 drakes and...BEFORE YOU JUDGE ME, I'm getting rid of 2 very soon. the thing is, a few weeks ago they were trying to kill each other, (normal drake behavior) and now today and yesterday they've been totally fine together! HOW? I only have 4 females, and usually they compete for a mate. all the drakes were even hanging out in the pond together, and not arguing over the girls for once. Is mating season over??

I'd chalk it up to 'good luck' on the part of the duck hens and you.

I have 5 boys and 5 girls they all get along fine.plus I have 3 squatters from the farm up the river and 5 more mallards that also stay here all day ,along with 2 geese and 7 goslings they all seem to get along just fine.so you never know

The thing is my drakes we're trying mg to kill each other before but now all the sudden they're fine.

Possibly mating is over and the Drakes will eclipse soon. Then the fighting will begin again once they have nuptial plumage.
