I am going to disagree with all you lovely people.
I think this bird may be female. I do not see any significant wattle or comb growth.
At 3 months of age I would expect this to be evident in a cockerel. Also, no male saddle feathers that I can see anyway. Agree crest is a little untidy for a pullet, but this bird looks like a pullet to me, still growing the crest in. Photo attached from the internet, granted this is an adult rooster, but just thought it was beautiful.
