    That's to bad. I have TB's. I take all the, what I call, special needs chickens. I love ALL of my chickens. Ollie would have loved him![​IMG] Good luck with him

    I always thought it was genetic, but I just read a great article "Crossed beak overview from MY Pet Chicken" that says it is caused by the chick not positioning itself correctly for hatching, a vitamin deficiency, injury or infection. They say a crossed beak can be - - but is not commonly - - a genetic issue, even though it's often mistaken for one. Interesting!

    Just curious? But why are you against shipping? And do you still have the CB? Just been wondering if you were able to find a loving home yet?
