Thank you. How long have you been raising chickens? I have only had them 3 months and some I thought were boys are but I did think the cornish X was a girl. I tried looking at their feet and their heads and still lost most of the time.
I have had a cockerel crow as early as 3 weeks. Every chicken is different. When they start laying depends on breed and also the strain they from (hatchery, breeder)I read somewhere they crow as early as now and then I hear they can lay eggs anytime after 16 weeks. The internet has tons of different answers. I googled imaged the ages for weeks now.
