3 New Fuzzies

This past 2 weeks have been crazy. I don't know if I posted or not but on March 20, I adopted Luna---Lunatic! On her birthday! She is partially blind.

My other cats are so much older than her (2-17 year old and a 13 year old) I thought it would be a good idea to find her a playmate.
I actually found her littermates. The rescue I got her from still had her brother and sister. They too have the same birth defect and are partially blind.


Lucky came out to play after about an hour of hiding under the couch.

Lucy just came out but I have got a picture of her yet. Will post that tomorrow.

Awww, they're darling!

I think it's so sweet you chose to adopt the special needs kitties. Not everyone wants them, but they deserve a loving home, too, and are just as great at being companions and sweethearts as any "normal" cat. Congratulations to you, and may you have many happy years with them! This post makes me smile.

Also so wonderful you kept the siblings together!

We took everybody to the vet today. Luna for a follow up on ear mites and some congestion.

Everybody is on antibiotics for a week. There is something going around in rescues right now. So Vet wants to jump on it to make sure it doesn't get worse. We also found out the Lucky has a heart murmur. Vet said if we take care of him the way we have all our other "kids" it won't get worse.

We got a better look at Lucy in the sunlight. She isn't black as we thought, but a deep dark chocolate color. When the sun hits her just right there is a beautiful copper glow.

I'll post pictures of my Kitty condo that I'm working on. I'm have a blast with the "kids"!!
