I have 2 australorp chicks, bought as day olds pullets. One is now 180 grams, the other is 205. We suspect one was older, but they were the same size when we got them. Kip, the questionable roo/pullet, is more curious/the leader, with a more rounded tail. Nala is smaller, shyer, and follows Kip everywhere. They both have black eyes. Kip has more feathers. Is he/she older or a male?

I could not tell a difference in mine at 3 weeks. Even at 7 weeks some of the girls are visibly different sizes.
