I hae a 3 week old silkie chick. She started acting odd day before yesterday and hasnt gotten any better. She is about half the size of her hatch mates. She either lays on her side of sits up on her butt. She is lethargic but does eat and drink when encouraged. When I hold her she has this "humming" feeling and occasionally her legs starts vibrating. When I was holding her I noticed a hard long protrusion coming from her chest/stomach, it feels like a bone.

I'm sorry your chick is not doing well. She is so cute!

The vibrating is concerning and could be neurological or she may be failing to thrive. Try to keep her hydrated and get some poultry vitamins into her. Poultry Nutri-Drench or you can give her vitamins individually. Squeeze 1/2 capsule of Vitamin E into her food daily along with 1/4tablet of human B-Complex. See if she will eat some finely mashed egg as well.

She may also benefit from being in a chick chair there's a couple of good photos HERE and HERE

Let us know how she's doing.

I'm concerned that she's just not thriving. She is much smaller in size compared to her hatch mates. I've given her some poly-vi-sol and made a little chick chair for her thanks to your pictures. I also wrapped her legs with some vet wrap to help stabilize. I tried doing the rubber band & straw brace but that stressed her out really bad. She's currently fast asleep in her chair. Ive been trying to research how long she should stay in there for but I'm not having much luck. Any idea? Fingers crossed these things help. She's a sweet little thing.

I'm sorry she is not doing well. You may be right that she is failing to thrive. Does she seem to be gaining any weight? You may want to get a weight on her so you can tell for sure.
As for how long to stay in the chair, I do not know the timeline. She probably needs adjusting several times a day.
