I am usually up early in the mornings getting my daughter ready for school. When I get up I make coffee then I go out to the garage at 430am to sit with the chicks and chat with them while I drink my morning coffee. Well, the little guy that I suspected of being a roo for over a week now stretched his neck up, opened his mouth to crow and nothing came out, not even a squeak. It's super cute to watch, but I'll bet it won't be long b4 he figures out how to make some noise! It's the chick in my avatar photo.

  2. It's funny to see them go through the motions like this. If he is trying already he'll get the hang of it soon enough. I had a roo started making noise at 6 weeks old but it wasn't very powerful at all.

    Best of wishes.

I really didn't expect it so soon. He is only 3 weeks old.
