My 3 year old sex link hen was previously said to have egg yolk peritonitis and has lost almost all her body weight.
Yesterday I found mites on her and dusted her and the coop and the mites are gone. Now I find her underneath the food and water hiding from the other hens. So I isolated her in a kennel and now she is acting like she is about to die. Is there a way to humanely put her down without going to a vet? I thought she was going to die 3 months ago and she's still hanging on but not doing good.

If she is that close, maybe you should just let her go. Sounds like you have her comfortable. I'm sure she likes the kennel at this point. Try and keep her warm for comfort. Sorry that you have to go through this. Not a fun thing to lose our pets. My girls are my pets.
