34 weeks old Easter Egger Losing her beard

I have two Easter Eggers from the same breeder. One does not have a beard and the other one does. The bearded one is losing her beard. My flock gets along very well so I dont think its pecking. It cant be molting because they are too young. I guess they could be pecking but that is very unlikely. They have a small run so that could be a cause.

Lice was the only thing that popped in my head as a cause to the losing of the beard. Hopefully someone has a different idea.

A flock mate is most likely feather pecking/plucking her while grooming.

I agree. I was reading that it could be another chicken without a beard (none of my other girls have beards).
