Here are my 4 1/2 week old chicks. 5 out of 6 hatched under their adopted mum. She's a really good mum! Any suggestions of their breed or gender will be welcome, this is the description from the ad;
"6 Mixed Hatching Eggs for sale. These are from my own hens. I have 2 cockerels running with 20 hens. They are an Indian game and a light sussex. Some of the hens are Light Sussex so you may get some pures. The other hens are Marans, Warrens, Rhode crosses and several bantam crosses." I kind of wish now that I'd bought eggs that I knew the breed of, but I hoped for a mix. These all look pretty much the same to me, but then, I'm pretty new to all this so maybe I'm wrong?
