So we were told these were buff orpington pullets by the person who gave them to us, but that is hardly the case. I've nicknamed them the 4 amigos since they follow each other around and they can't be separated. I am pretty certain I have 3 easter egger cockerel's and 1 pullet (with no beard) but I wanted to check with the communities expertise. Thanks for helping out.

And now I agree with you on the cockerels. An easy dirty trick to play on someone trying to push off their roos.

    WISHING YOU BEST. [IMG]

Looks like you have three mixed breed cockerels and one pullet (like you thought).

They are all cockerels. They all have long, thin male saddle feathers, even the one without much comb development.

Hard to tell on her through, another thing wouldnt the boys be fighting if that was a hen and with three boys and one girl there are bound to be problems.

Thank you for the welcome and for everyones input. We've had them since they were 1 wk old. We have other chickens and have not had problems sexing them, but with these guys I've been back and forth on them since the beginning. It is probably because I am trying to see a hen when I don't have one in this pen though...

All 4 of these guys fight each other. We also have a young splash rooster, and my wife called the other day to tell me that one of these amigos was about to kill (so it seemed) the splash. So, luckily my kids like nuggets. Might be about that time!

    Thanks again!
