4 day old chick- gut bulge under vent- please advise

I was wiping everyone's vent/butt area and one guy was really coated with hard stuff under his vent. I soaked a lot of it off and was picking the rest of the poop off and noticed there is a fleshy bulge hanging out just above the "navel" area. What is this? What do I need to do? I can't even think of terms to google. Please help! Thanks

Do you have any pictures? I had a baby chick that had a huge bulge under his vent. It turned out that he was "going" but the poo wasn't coming out of his body. 8 or 9 q-tips full of poo removed by the vet and a few days he was perfectly fine. He was a special boy and I lost him this past January.
