We had 4 Hens (2 Aracaunas, Buff Orpington and RIR)
Called about some Cochins advertised in the Market Bulletin , the girl told me she would give them to me if I took a rooster! [IMG]
Since I had been wanting a rooster it made sense, now we have two Cochin Hens and a Very Pretty Cochin Rooster.

Cochin roosters are the best. I have a blue splash bantam roo (Piccolino) and he is just great. Quiet, calm, friendly and good to his hens. Good luck to you [IMG]

They are just getting their feathers in, about the same stage as my other girls. I bought them right before easter.
How do you know how old they are?
