I am worried Hennifer might be a Henry... thoughts? They were all sold as pullets at 3 weeks old by my local feed store. The Buff Orpington and Barred Rock are so docile and sweet, this Delaware is flighty and squirmy and attitudish! Look at the last pic! She or he also has some barring on her tail though I hear that doesn't quite tell you.

Unfortunately it looks like you have a little rooster.

Yikes. That's what my gut is telling me and I am a first time chick mama... So completely different from the other 2. He is much larger too. I just relooked at the comb and it is very pink/red and has jagged ridges whereas the other two have low combs that are yellowish. He's also pretty sooty on the backside and has barring on his tail. We can't have roos in the city limits, so I guess back to the feed store he goes!

    Thanks for your speedy reply!

Sorry, that breed often gets aggressive too, so it's good he's going back.

Yes, I can already tell! That comb is pretty bright and jagged, and S(he) has waddles too. Definitely going back.
