So I got some barred rock pullet chicks and a solitary olive egger. I could not for the life of me figure out who the olive egger was for the first couple of weeks but I think I have figured it out. Do you think I’m right that the darker one I circled in red is the Olive Egger among the barred rocks? There are also Easter Eggers in the photo but I can figure those out I’m just having trouble ID’ing the Olive Egger

Your pictures didn't load.
Sorry! Whoops. I added them. I’m pretty confident that the darker one is the odd one out, she has a smaller comb than the barred rocks

Pink feet, it's likely that one. Some of your barred rocks look like cockerels but it's too early to say for sure.
Good call on the feet. Which ones look like cockerels? I didn’t think any of them looked like cockerels. I don’t have any that stand out with lighter barring or with yellow feet and aren’t they relatively easy to sex from hatch?

They can be sexed from hatch by headspot, males have mullets, girls have toupees. These look suspect, however headspot sexing isn't always right in hatchery birds. The barring is pretty bright for pullets but the difference, like I said, can be lost.

I’ll keep an eye on themz! Thanks

The BRs appear to be CMs. I'm almost willing to bet they're all cockerels except for the one you circled.

Can we get pics of the other chicks that aren't barred?

I don’t understand, are you saying instead of 15 barred rock pullets the hatchery sent me cuckoo marans cockerels? I would be very surprised if that happened. Iattached photos of 2 of them I took yesterday. They’re 5 weeks old today hatched 7/25

the other non barred ones are Easter eggers and a black australorp . Should all be pullets
