4 week old speckled sussex roo or pullet

she was supposed to be a pullet... but these wattles concern me... and whats up with this comb? i thought speckled sussexes have single combs?

I agree with the above posters, he is a rooster, Also, your chick is not a Speckled Sussex, he is a Sicilian Buttercup (notice the "split"comb?). His feathering is different than a Speckled Sussex's coloring.
