I have this 4 week old white frizzle cochin bantam. It feathered very quickly compared to my black frizzle so i was thinking it was a pullet. By the wing feathers at a 4 days old it looked like it could be a pullet. But now I'm thinking roo. what are your guesses?

It's likely you have a cockerel on your hands, but only time will tell. :)

Wing sexing only works on specifically bred hybrids.

Thanks for responses. @Crazy for Chickens! I am new to all this chicken stuff. I've only read that it only works for certain breeds but no one mentions what breeds. Haha. So I tried anything to get some clues and best guesses on my 10 little bantam chicks. I have 2 silkies. 2 blue mille fleur d'uccles. 2 dark brahmas. 1 light Brahma. 1 White frizzle cochin. 1Black frizzle cochin. 1 golden laced cochin.

U can see some mighty cock behavior although u should wait till 7th week that's the right time to tell

Also comb development is less and comb is pale but still wait

Agree with Saaniya. Not a lot of comb development, nor wattles either. And yes, the coloring is pale. But this is very early yet. Things might really change in a few weeks. Some seem to develop almost overnight!

Possibly a cockerel? But you have to wait as the posts above said :)
