4 weekers…any gender clues?

Our surprise assortment have reached the 4-4.5 week mark. I believe we have a Barred Cochin, Spitz, White Rock, BW Polish, speckled Sussex, and a black australorp (?). Thoughts on breed and gender?

Those seem like pretty good guesses on the breeds! Except for the white rock, I'm not sure what those look like as babies but I'm surprised by the greyish feathers.

Not a White Rock. Post updated pics once they have all their feathers. At that point we'll be better able to tell what that one is, and give a gender ID as well.

I think your barred cochin is actually a Marans. Your white/grey Bird has the wrong leg color for a white rock. They should be yellow/orange. Not sure what this one is maybe one of the new hatchery hybrids. Where did you get them?
Too young to be definitive with gender guesses.

I think you got the breeds right except for the white rock. I' m not sure what it is-- maybe a splash Andalusian. It is too early to be sure of sex, but that bird, the cochin, and the black one are a little suspicious because of comb/wattle development.

Those are the two I’m semi concerned about. Guess time will tell!

My mistake. The barred cochin is indeed a barred cochin. The cuckoo Marans at Cackle do not have feathered legs.
