Thanks for some opinions 4 weeks ago. I determined after some answers that our chicks cannot be sexed by color.
I had no idea that chicks are not cute little fluffy balls of fluff for very long! They look like mini chickens now!
We've been watching their growth and behavior over this time and have been noticing that only 2 of our 3 chicks keep doing something like mini fights with their necks errect, standing straight, and their beaks beak-on-beak, staring each other in the eyes. The little chick right below does never participate in that. The one right below also is way more tame, and does not coplain much when picked up. Also, this chick's comb is not growing like the other two's, and it's also smaller than her (?) siblings. I think that's a pullet.

The 2 one the left are the 2 roos in question. Can you notice the bigger combs at 3 1/2 weeks of age?

Bigger comb on this one. This is the one we're really not sure about. She/he behaves like a wild bird and grows at a faster pace than the one in the 1st picture.

We're pretty sure he's a young rooster. He'll complain a lot when picked up (not hard to imagine it could turn into a crowing one day!) and try to run away!

Any more ideas? It's exciting not to know what they are... but I'd so much rather know! What do you think?
Thanks again in advance!
