4 weeks old RIR – boys or girls?

Hi everyone! Check out my babies, they are about 4 weeks old now. I was wondering if anyone can help me sex them. I live in a city and I would only be able to keep girls but the farm I got my chicks from only sells them straight run.

So I ended up getting four, praying I would end up with at least two girls. I would probably have to send the boys back/rehome them… It's been two weeks since I had them and I am already so attached!! As is, I would be sad to see anyone go… so I really don't want to wait any longer in figuring out who is a boy/girl.

I notice they were growing really different tails, so I was wondering if that would be a tell sign.

Hmmm, just a bit too soon to tell for sure. But I have an idea that the one on the left is going to be a cockerel.

LOL. that's what everyone is telling me!! that the one in the front is gonna be a roo for sure.

i am really just hoping the other two with the same kind of tail don't all turn out to be boys. that would give me 3 boys and only 1 girl!!!
