Hello,
My 4 year old Colombian black tail has been unwell for the past week or so. She (and the others) have been wormed, and she’s also had a weeks worth of antibiotics. She’s also taking anti inflammatory medicine for small dogs as this was given to her by the vet last time she was unwell.
She’s not eating much, she’s only eaten yoghurt and crickets. She’s not interested in her favourite treats, but she is drinking water.
Her poops are small and green but have a bit more body as we’ve been feeding her nutri drops/Vermx/liquid mash through a syringe.
She’s very slow and sleepy and won’t join the others when they roam around. We’ve been taking her into the house during the day so she can get some rest as we think she’s wasting energy by pretending to be healthy for the others.
She doesn’t lay any eggs so I presumed that would lengthen her lifespan - is she dying of old age or is she just unwell? She does have lice/mites which were treating and her crop is small and not impacted.
