46 weeks and finally an egg

So I have 4 chickens (3 EE and 1 Australorp) that were all hatch 46 weeks ago. First let me say I'm over the moon happy to have received my first ever egg and its brown, really now its 2 one yesterday and a second today. However as happy as I am I'm dying to get eggs from the EEs. I don't know much about chicken as these are my first so could I be getting eggs soon from the EEs too?

EE's can lay brown eggs but it is probably the aussie. With the days getting longer the ee;s should start laying soon and give you blue, green, pink. or even brown eggs. Just make sure they have clean water and a good food 16% protein or higher and you should be getting eggs from all the girls soon.

Thanks I've been feeding them Layer pellets since early in January and I'll just keep my fingers crossed I get some colored eggs soon.
