they havent laid yet but should start very soon . I am hoping my sebastopol and by toulouse start to lay too . i have the worst luck with getting birds to lay and to hacth chicks in the incubator

The official name is Canada geese.......NOT Canadian geese.

According to a website I found, you must have a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Dept. to sell them, or even give them away.

Wonder if that's accurate, anybody know?

Yes this is true. They are a migratory game bird and protected under that act by the us fish and wildlife.

The correct name is Canada Geese or Canada Goose.. And that picture is of Canadian Bacon.
