5 day old chick ?

This lonely chick is 5 days old, at nights if I open the broody bugs fly in and of course little fuzzbutt eats them. Does he need any grits since hes eatting them? He gets nothing but chick starter but he does grab the bugs. Thanks.

It wouldnt hurt to sprinkle a little chick grit or course sand on his food, but I think that he will be okay without it.
