Do you reckon is a rooster?Beautiful! Such a handsome little guy!!
Ok thank you for the adviceLooks like a beauty!
Not all chicks that hatch will make it. They may have internal conditions we can't see once they are relying on their own body for nutrient absorption, digestion and such. If you are breeding and these are your eggs, we can try and take the time to diagnose what *may* have been the cause.
If you don't have any other chicks... maybe a feed store will still have a friend you can purchase? A single chick is a lonely chick. While it can be done... it is better (and easier) to raise at least 2 if you have that option.
Congrats on your first baby!
It’s a little to young to tell. I just referred to it as a guy sorry to confuse you!Beautiful! Such a handsome little guy!!
No worries thank you, he is very cuteIt’s a little to young to tell. I just referred to it as a guy sorry to confuse you!
Roosters are often more hardy than hens... at hatch. But then they wouldn't be roosters, just cockerels or pullets until one year old.Do you reckon is a rooster?
