Okay, so a few days ago, I only had 2 out of 6 for sure that were still alive. I candled today and 5 out of the 6 were moving around in there!! I am so excited
I increased my humidity, because I figured out that it was just too dry...the air pocket was where it was supposed to be at day 14 and it was only day 8. I was keeping between 35 and 45 before, so I added water to more of the trays and it went up to 50 to 55...so I plugged the vent holes and it is at 60% now.
Now comes the real test...I am going out of town for about 10 days, so Hubby is going to be incharge of the incubator. I gave him detailed instructions on what to do and how to do it. Being that I FOR SURE saw 5 babies moving around, I think he will be extra careful to do what he is supposed to do, so he doesn't do anything to kill them, lol. I told him about lockdown and all that jazz. They are due to hatch the night I will be returning home, so we shall see!
Cross your fingers for little babies (or at least pips) upon arriving home!!!!
