I noticed one of my Opal hens was staring at the ground. At first I thought she was looking for bugs then I realized that even when after I chased her over to another location, she would drop her head again. I picked her up and found a severe kink in her neck and I mean like a knot kink. Can I do the vitamin E capsules with her and what is the other thing? Selenium? In what form? They get what I thought was a pretty well rounded out diet but perhaps they need more Frog Legs or Shrimp as I only do that once or twice a month.
    Thanks...

Sometimes it just happens but usually it is caused by injury or stress.

I personally use poly vi sol without iron to correct wry neck issues.

Ok, thought about injury as well. They are in a large holding house right now. The inside has plenty of head room for them on the roosts but there are also roosts along the outer wire enclosure that were originally constructed for the Guineas. I thought perhaps she could have hit her head while flying up to one of those. Can they straighten out eventually? It is really kinked but she can raise her head when she is walking.
