My Barred Rock was suddenly unable to stand on her leg on the day she first laid an egg 11days ago. Checked her over with no obvious sign of injury or swelling. She slowly seemed to improve although I noticed her comb no longer stood up. Suddenly today she can't stand at all and is laying partly on her side. I separated her from the other girls and gave her food and water which she happily ate and drank. Of the two poops that I saw one was very liquidy but no pink or blood and the other was semisolid but mainly liquid. She seems to be unable to move anything other than her head and neck easily. She has laid an egg daily for the last 11 days. What else should I be doing?
