5 Week Old Chicks

Hi All,

Our hybrid chicks are now 5 weeks old and I'm pretty certain we have had at least one male so far.

This one is from the same batch of eggs and hatched on the same day but their comb is much larger and darker than the other one (black).

Am I right in thinking that we have a clear male here?

Yup the first one is a cockerel and the 2nd is a pullet

You're correct. That bird is male.
Update at 8+ weeks for the other bird.
