This picture is at 6 weeks: Is there a chance she is still a girl?[IMG]

I am concerned that my GLW, Vic, may be a Victor rather than a Victoria.

(S)he feathered out early and has been the largest of the 7 chicks all along, but also one of the shyest. I know her comb is wrong (single comb) but she is a hatchery chick, so that's OK as far as I'm concerned (she wasn't intended for showing or breeding, just eggs).

    What think ye?

Can't help you on the sex, but that's one cute bird!

Still could go either way, my slws were getting red in the face around 5 weeks, but no worries they are girls.

I like your answer. I think I'll take this one for now. I want eggs. (and I really like this bird)

I can keep a roo, but I also have a questionable Delaware from that order, if I can ever get a decent picture of her head.

So too early to tell? Not sure exactly what you meant.

That looks like a lot of comb and wattle development for that age, so I'll say Rooster.

I fear that the roo prediction may be right, but I'll keep hoping for an egg. At least I can keep a rooster if he is a nice bird.

If you posted pics of the sibs it would be easier at that age. Gorgeous bird and I am glad you can keep "him" if that is what it turns out to be! T
