I have 4 americanos, the rooster was marked with a purple line on his head. He is all white. They are now all 5 weeks old, and one that is supposed to be a hen is crowing. Does this mean I may have more than one rooster and less hens than I thought? Do hens crow?

Hens usually don't crow, so I would say rooster

    Pictures would help though

If its crowing then its a boy. Sometimes tho rare, a hen will crow but she is usually 3+ years and its often due to a hormonal imbalance or she has taken over the male role in the flock

If one is crowing, its a rooster for sure. Hatcheries only guarantee a 90% sexing accuracy usually, so your "hen" may be part of that 10% that weren't sexed right.
