5 week old quail pecking

I have 8 five weeks old quail and two 0r three have minor pecks to the head and have lost feathers are they starting to attack and kill each other I want to avoid a bloodbath like last year

How many hens? How many roos? How much space? Are they drawing blood?

There’s probably a good chance that’s your boys attacking each other. By 5-6 weeks they will be getting tired of their male siblings, and will start fighting each other.
