Glad to have found this forum. We picked up 6 ‘pullets’ on May 1st and one of them is starting to look a bit different than the rest. The others have little to no beige comb but the one in question has a comb and small wattles with a noticeable reddish hue. Sadly, we cannot keep any roosters on our lot by code. If it is a cockareel, we have located a store which will rehome him. If it has to be, I’d rather take care of this sooner than later but want to e fairly certain before doing so. Here are some pics at 5 weeks.
Thank you for your advice.

That is definitely a little rooster!! Sometimes that happens. Most hatcheries only guarantee about 90% accuracy on sexing.

Thank you the quick replies. We were sad to say goodbye to the little fellow today but are happy that we were able to place it with a store that will be able to provide it a good home. Thanks again!
