5 week update

    Hi!

    So It has been fiven weeks since I got my chicks and they are doing AWESOME!!!! They are all starting to bond with me. They have a LOT of feathers. I have attached pictures.

    My question is this, do they look feathered enough to move out of the brooder?

    They look feathered enough but depending on your climate you may want to acclimate them. Turn off heat source for extended times until no heat at all in current brooder. We brood in an unheated garage, stage the heat down over course of 4 days to week then out to the coop and run they go. Up North here I put 4 week olds out in mid to late April and 3 week old out mid May on.
