ok these two are 5 weeks now, mum does not have anything to do with them now. hens or cockerel

no guesses, is it still to early. would it be better if the photo was taken outside.
What breed are they? It’s still very early to tell yet for most breeds, especially with only two (where they could both be the same sex). Yes, it would be better if the pictures were taken outside and if you were holding them so you could get a closeup of their combs.
 
thank you. they are lavender araucana. they are hard to tell, my gut feeling when they hatched was hen and cockerel, but they are always chest bumping and mum has ditched them at a very early age, so makes me think both are cockerels. as she cared for the others for a long time last year and they were hens.
 
manage to get these today, they never keep still.

are these photo's not clear enough, they sure don't like to sit around. will try some more at the weekend, but any guesses.
That would be good. Try to get individual shots, closeups. You can't really make out any details about their faces.
Keeping in mind that 5 weeks is still usually early to determine sex, unless you have an obvious cockerel.
