5 wk old chick leg picked bare and swollen

Found one of our 5 wk old French Maran chicks trapped and being pecked on by our older chickens. Her leg was picked bare and raw, but not bleeding and doesn't look like they broke the skin. We cleaned her up and put blue kote on it.

This evening she is eating and drinking, walking with a small limp, and the leg is swollen. I'm not sure what to do about the swelling and is leaving her with the other chicks and mom ok?

I would do likewise. Leave the chick with momma & other chicks. Swelling will likely dissisipate. Good job with he blue cote even though no bleeding.
