5 wk old lavender orphington broken leg?

Hello. I have a 5 wk old rooster that fell off his perch about 4 days ago. Evel Kenevil has been unable to put pressure on his left leg since. There is a d was know swelling to indicate any broken bone. How do I tell for sure? I am thinking that it might be the joint or knee that is the under lying that needs mending. How do I help my poor baby lavender orphington Evel Kenevil get better? I have made him a chick chair but it is not talk enough. His feet can still touch the ground so I. Working on chair two today. Anyone have any good designs that have step by step instructions? And what can I do about his leg so I can get him back to the flock?

Can you have a vet xray him today? I would keep him in a dog crate or pen to force rest of his leg. Pictures of him standing might be helpful. If he will use a sling, that is fine for a few hours a day, but it can make it worse if he fights it. Here are some good designs for slings and chairs:

If I could afford to take him to the vet for x-rays I would have done so ready. Iove my Chickie's but the whole town was mandated to shut down so I am on temporary lay off status. The first one with the straps is what he is currently using. He can't touch the ground in this one in the other he can. Evel falls when he stands without help. He doesn't seem to mind his sling chair.
