Anyone else own 55 Flowery Hens? What’s their personality like? I have 2 hens who never lay and bully any new pullets I try to add. I keep them because I believe there’s something mentally wrong with them (and they’re super pretty) but is the whole breed like this? I genuinely feel bad for how dumb they are they’re also super skittish (none of my other breeds are like this).

Oh man that stinks. Sorry you got the rtards of the flock. The 55F is now one of my favorite breeds of roughly a dozen breeds we have. She loves to take shoulder rides, and I've not had any bully issues. Now she is assertive, and will give a young one a peck, but not aggressively. She's also a bit like a cat when it comes to handling her. If it's her idea, she'll love to be touched and given attention. If its my idea, she just won't let me touch her. Still not in a negative manor.

Sorry your 55F are not awesome. It's one of my favorites.
