How can I get my 5 week old chicks to use the ramp to their run. They are impossible to get back into the coop

Mine are 5 weeks old and will climb up and down the ramp during the day but not at night. Moved them into the coop 4 days ago. They come down it in the am just fine.

I have been fortunate in that they crash for the night near a door where I can just lift them up and into the coop through a door above though.

If you figure it out, let me know! [IMG]

They probably are just too happy to be outside out and about! [IMG]
You can try FOOD... lure them into the coop.... FOOD ALWAYS WORKS! [IMG]

Practice, practice, practice! Keep them in the area so they are used to it being there, and often they'll try it out themselves. Also, scattering mealworms or small pieces of other favorite treats or feed up the ramp will get them using it.

I've been trying to lure them but they don't seem to get it...they go up for treats back back down.

However, all but one went up by themselves tonight. 6 nights in the new coop until they did it!
